BECOMING G'HOST
At its core, G’HOST is as compassionate and educated about Behavioral Health and its delicate nature as the providers it serves. Founded by J.P. Harrison in 2018, G’HOST is a fusion of personal passion, extensive education and quality expertise. His career in behavioral health began in 2014 at a Wilderness Therapy Program in Southern Utah after completing a two-year teaching program for Wilderness Guiding and Nature-connected Coaching. His wilderness expertise lead to a leadership role where he was exposed to the greater industry of behavioral health. However, in 2017 a motorcycle accident left him with a broken ankle. Unable to continue the wilderness career he had immersed himself in, he journeyed back to technology.
MEETING THE DARK WEB
Within the first few months of his own personal research and training, a colleague approached him about The Dark Web. A client at an inpatient rehabilitation facility had ordered fentanyl, overdosed and died within the treatment center. The devastation served as a turning point for J.P. He knew in that moment that the Behavioral Health community needed more education on cybersecurity.
BUILDING G’HOST
Security is not something that is plugged in, but rather something that grows from attention, research, implementation and testing. The result? In G’HOST’s case, a holistic security product that is custom fit for all behavioral health organizations.
